18 Months old!

Payton had his 18 month checkup today! All is well! He weighs in at 25 lbs 3 oz and stands 32 inches tall!



He was fascinated with the mirror in the exam room. He kept cracking Dr Amy up as he would look in the mirror and dance!


He also liked the look of himself in Dad's hat!!

Extreme Picnic

One of the advantages of working for a float plane company is the neat stuff you get to do! Yesterday the whole company flew out to a remote beach after work for a picnic dinner. Payton LOVES airplanes and was screeching with glee on takeoff.

Garden Bounty

Our raspberries are FINALLY ripe, as well as a few snap peas! Two weeks of hot weather followed by a week of rain sure does the garden good! Payton sure enjoys the bounty!

Who needs a playground??

Not us! We just need the Matilda Bay, a crane and a trayco!! This is definitely a favorite of all the grandkids! They all swung for a good 45 minutes. Payton cried when he had to get out. Even Baba took a turn swinging with the kids. At one point he hoisted them a good 25 feet in the air. Needless to say I was a tad bit nervous...I had visions of Payton jumping out and me throwing myself across the deck to catch him! Luckily that didn't happen. Phew!


They loved swinging high and seeing who could touch the buoys roped to the upper deck.
