Party time!!

Last night was Bill Kalbrener's Retirement party. Frances and I worked hard to plan the party and bake the cake and it was a hit!! Payton had a ball wondering around the hangar and even outside on the ramp!! I think he spent the whole time there exploring. He did NOT want to be held! Too much to look at!!

A day at the park!

On Wednesday, Payton and I met up with Jana and Aaron for some playtime at the Twin Lakes Playground. Even though they boys couldn't walk very well on the snow...they had a blast!

When Erik's out of town, I let Payton watch Wonder Pets first thing in the morning while I make coffee, feed the dogs, put them out, take out the trash, etc. We have a little Elmo chair that he always sits in.....I think he's a little TOO comfortable!

I was letting Payton pack around a Reese's Peanut Butter cup that he had pulled out of the candy jar. I figured it was safe since the wrapper was still intact....or so I thought....



Today's moral: Never underestimate the intelligence of a 1 yr old.

"We're Wonder Pets and we'll save you..." Ugh. That song will be forever burned in my brain :) Payton LOVES the Wonder pets. He'll sit through a whole episode (granted they're only 7 min long). But I'll take the peace and quiet when I can :)
